TOLL has a new API which supports all of their domestic services as well as international under one API.
If we integrate with this we will be able to support their various services more easily as this would be ONE common label across TOLL business units.

Yeah, it's not working. I ticked to use MyToll API. Logged out, logged in, didn't get a price. Unticked it and I got a price.

Initial Opossum: TOLL's API had an outage right when this all went live unfortunately. We've also had a look at your account and can see we are getting an error back from TOLL for your specific account.
We've reached out to TOLL to get this sorted for you and will let you know when it's working.

If you tick the option 'Use MyToll API for rates' now you should see rates.

The integration with MyToll for rates is complete.
To switch on MyToll rates please go to Settings > Couriers > Toll Priority or Toll IPEC and tick 'Use MyToll API for rates' then click 'Save'.

So are you saying you got response times around 1-2 seconds like I do for API’s that work or are you saying 30 seconds is ok? This response time seriously impacts the time to add a product to cart when your live checkout setting is active. I look forward to speaking to someone soon

Hi Anthony, I have been waiting for this fix for over a year. I cant tell you how disappointed I am to realize that it has made no difference whatsoever. The response time for the API test is over 30 seconds each time which is less than desirable. When reactivating TOLL in Live Checkout Rates it still can take 10 - 20 seconds per product to add to cart. Deactivate TOLL for Live Checkout and and we are at 1 -2 seconds to add a product to cart.
Hope you can help with this issue as we have been stuck with AusPost as our only viable courier simply because Starshipit / TOLL cant get this to work. Please note that it worked seamlessly for over 12 months after initial setup before declining (before something changed) All avenues were explored until we finally worked out it was the TOLL API slowing things down.

The new MyToll API rates integration significantly improves the response times seen when compared to the old method. I am very surprised to hear you are running into issues.

We have to take an extra step to make the new rates functionality work for your existing account numbers. I am working with Toll on this and will let you know once it's ready.
In terms of B2C TOLL services this is not included in the changes. I have created a seperate post for tracking this:
