When shipping with FedEx, particularly to the USA, we frequently receive follow-up requests for manufacturer details before customs clearance can proceed. Attaching a separate file has not reliably prevented these requests.

It would be useful if the shipment form supported dedicated fields for:

Manufacturer name

Manufacturer address

Ideally these details could be added per product/line item, with a shipment-level default as a fallback, and then included on the generated commercial invoice and transmitted to FedEx where supported.
