We've expanded the capabilities of 'Scan to select' to now include the option to select carrier products alongside package selection and order printing.
How to set up carrier products for scanning:
Prepare a barcode sheet for all your carrier products using the following format:
prd_ProductCode
. The ProductCode should match the case-sensitive product code of the courier service you intend to use for shipping orders through Starshipit. Any barcode that supports alphanumeric values will be valid and recognised by the system.Steps to scan carrier product:
- Navigate to Workflowsin Starshipit.
- Select Scan to open,Search for an orderorValidate Packaging.
- From the Workflow options, tick Scan to select packaging, carriers, and print labels.
- Scan the order number to open the order.
- (Optional) Scan the barcode of the package you would like to enter.
- Scan the barcode of the carrier product you would like to assign to order.
- (Optional) Scan the “act_print” barcode to print the order label.
- The order will be printed, and you'll be redirected to Workflowsto process your next order.
