Improved tote workflows in batch picking

We’ve made tote handling in the mobile app much smoother, especially for batch picking with

one order per tote

Scan totes upfront
: At the start of a pick or batch pick, scan the totes you’ll be using (one per order).
Auto-assignment
: The app automatically assigns totes to orders.
Guided placement
: As you pick, the app directs you which tote each item belongs in.
Optional scan-to-confirm
: Turn on
Must Scan Tote to Place Items
if you want pickers to scan each tote before placing items.

This improves on our existing batch picking workflow by removing confusion around lingering totes and giving pickers clear, guided instructions — making the process faster and reducing errors.
