As a user I would like to see a more accurate shipping estimate for my NZ Post orders in the Starshipit UI. Currently the diplayed costs neglect to include any tax or surcharge, unlike Aramex, DHL, Auspost etc.

The new API does allow for a comprehensive cost breakdown which is good. However Starshipits only displays the base cost in the "Total" and against the services in the dialog box. I expect it is also using this for the cheapest carrier rule.
