As a sender of internation goods, I often send orders with multiple tax numbers associated with the order - for example EORI and IOSS for orders ex UK. I would like the invoice to show multiple tax numbers as I have had orders delayed at customers due to confusion (data has all details but invoice does not).

Hi all,
We're pleased to announce that we have made a recent change that will allow multiple tax numbers to show on your FedEx Commercial invoices. As per our previous comments, FedEx is unable to display multiple tax numbers on their commercial invoices. We have worked with FedEx closely to discuss a solution that will help Starshipit customers. We have updated the information we send to FedEx and are now sending the additional tax numbers in the 'Special Instructions' field so that they are also displayed on the Commercial Invoice.
Please note FedEx has advised that due to the additional tax numbers showing in the special instructions field there is a chance these will not be seen by the customs officials.
The first tax number sent (the top tax number in your settings) will be displayed on the commercial invoice in the dedicated tax ID field.
This update is only available on the new FedEx REST API Integration. To migrate please follow the directions in our support guide: https://support.starshipit.com/hc/en-us/articles/5490462577039-How-to-set-up-FedEx-Express#01J6DD5T1PZHAYSB3NFPX80JW6

Hi all,
Starshipit has been working alongside FedEx to discuss this feature request. FedEx has confirmed that although it is possible to submit multiple tax numbers via the API, only the first number will be displayed on the commercial invoice.
We are now working with FedEx to discuss alternative fields that we can send your tax numbers in so that these can be displayed on the commercial invoice.
Thank you for your patience with this one - we hope to have a solution available for you as soon as possible!
Thanks,
Alexa

FedEx just told me this.... the IOSS number should be included in place of the EORI for IOSS applicable shipments.

Daffodil yellow Sailfish: Hi Simon,
Thanks for your feedback. We're currently in touch with FedEx to discuss their APIs ability to handle and present multiple tax numbers on their Commercial Invoice. Currently, we send both the EORI and IOSS to FedEx in the shipment request. The order in which we send these will depend on how you have them set up in your Shipper Tax Settings in Starshipit (top down). If you would like to send the IOSS number first, I would recommend putting your IOSS number at the top of your list, please refer to the image attached.
I hope to have an update for you soon from FedEx about how we can get both of these tax numbers on the invoice. Please follow along on this post for any future updates.
Thanks for your patience with this!
